LAUREN STAKE
Lauren Rebecca Burke Stake was born in Longview, TX on August 25, 1983 to Mike and Debbie Burke. She has one brother, Russell, who lives in Las Vegas. She has never met a stranger, even as a young child, and has a gift of genuine interest and care for everyone she meets.
She attended school in Tyler, Texas during her elementary years and moved to Midland in 1994 when her Dad was transferred here in the oil business. She attended Lee High School until her Jr. year when her Dad was transferred again and she graduated from Nacogdoches High School. Lauren’s wit, friendliness and warm personality made her accepted and loved by so many in the short time she was in Nacogdoches.
She graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Early Childhood in 2006.
She did her student teaching at Washington Magnet school in Midland and was immediately hired to teach Kindergarten.
She was a wonderful teacher and well-respected and loved by her Administrators, peers, students and parents. She taught until the birth of her 2nd child and elected to stay at home with her children.
Lauren’s grandparents were life-long, successful real estate professionals in East Texas who had a reputation of impeccable integrity, community involvement and a love for helping others find the properties of their dreams. It is no surprise that Lauren decided to pursue her real estate license while staying at home with the kids. She learned the ropes at the Real Estate Ranch and quickly became one of the top sales persons in the Permian Basin. Her love for helping people, her integrity and her willingness to go that extra mile are reflected in the referrals from friends and acquaintances and the working relationships she has with other professionals.
Lauren is an active member of Midland Jr. League, Midland Panhellenic, Permian Basin Board of Realtors and First Methodist Church. She does countless hours of volunteer work and is always available to help a friend or anyone who needs a helping hand with anything.
Lauren’s most valuable and coveted role is the totally devoted mother of Adalee Brooke (Addie B.) , age 5, Walker Dean (Dub), age 4 and Archer Boone (Boone), age 15 months. She volunteers at their schools, gets them to their activities and has the energy left to guide and care for them with unending love and patience.
Lauren is a 2013 graduate of the prestigious and selective Texas Realtor Leadership Program, the chairmen for the local TREPAC (Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee) and was awarded the Permian Basin Board of Realtors 2013 Rookie Realtor of the Year.
